Safety Net

In the event of an extreme emergency, such as a natural disaster, theft or building collapse, the charity’s advisory committee spokesperson may request a special distribution form the charity advised account. This can only take place 12 months after the date of the original agreement, must be a minimum of $5,000, and cannot cause the balance to drop below $10,000.

Requests can also be submitted and considered for the transfer of the entire account balance to another donor advised fund, community foundation or other eligible institution, if the advisory committee feels it is necessary and the other organization makes the same promise to pay donors as the Raymond James Charitable Endowment Fund.
